We built this site from scratch for the W.O. Mitchell E.S. School Council. It’s actually a Joomla site, not a WordPress site, although much of the design work and text composition is the same as for a WordPress site. In this case, the client wanted to go with Joomla for its user-database capabilities.
This site contains a huge amount of information, and our biggest challenge was setting up the menu so that everything was easy to access. As well, parents can log into the site to sign up to volunteer for certain events, and to register to receive the school’s newsletter. In design, we wanted something bright and fun, with a custom header that showed off the school’s gorgeous architecture and grounds.
